SW 601 HUMAN BEHAVIOR I: PSYCHOSOCIAL ANALYSIS OF HUMAN BEHAVIOR

3.0 graduate credits

It is essential that the social worker understand how human persons develop and grow, as bio-psycho-social beings, over their life span, what are anticipated life events, and how social work practice can enhance this process. In addition, when life chances are limited due to personal or environmental barriers, social workers also need to understand the consequences and connect theoretical material, practice skills, and policy understanding to create maximum positive resolutions.
