Discussions on STDs emphasizing the etiologies, transmission, diagnosis, prophylaxis and treatment. Includes background information on broad categories of microorganisms, host-parasite relationships, specific and non-specific defense mechanisms and control of microorganisms. Three hours lecture. Non-science majors.
