BUS 333 COST ACCOUNTING

3.0 Undergraduate credits

Presents the principles of cost accounting, beginning with the nature and purpose of cost accounting in the manufacturing environment. The major areas of job order and process cost accounting are presented along with the application of these techniques to manufacturing and other environments. Finally, the use of cost accounting as a management tool is explained. Prerequisite: BUS 132
