“Living responsibly in an interdependent world” is Marywood curricular purpose and a major component of our mission. With this in mind, our course assists students in understanding the basics Ethical Leadership and Corporate Social Responsibility. Students will explore various facets of ethical leadership and CSR as they apply to our work lives, academic lives and personal lives. Participative projects, and other workshop techniques will be utilized within the classroom setting whenever possible to enhance learning. The course will be divided into two main segments. Part I will deal with: The historical background and theory of Ethical Leadership and CSR while Part II will be involved with profiles of ethical leaders, their respective companies/professional involvements and their legacies.
