EDUC 511 CHILDREN'S LITERATURE FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD AND ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

1.5 or 2 Graduate credits

Presents a brief history of children's literature, the characteristics of twentieth century publications for children, with the relationship between literature read by children and the psychology of the child. Evaluation of representative current and retrospective titles for classroom use. Reading specialists must take 2 credit.
