The study of the relationship between private enterprise and the public interest focusing on (a) the historical development, global­ ly, of industrial society; (b) the legal and constitutional develop­ ment of government as regulator and supporter of business and (c) case studies in some failures of big business to fulfill its social responsibilities to serve the public interest. (global, interdisci­ plinary)
