HIST 230 WOMEN IN THE DEVELOPING WORLD

3.0 undergraduate credits

This course will examine the historical position of women in the developing world and their roles in their nations today. Special attention will be given to their economic activities in agriculture, marketing and initial manufacturing and to their changing social and political roles. Approaches will be explored for enhancing women in development and the development of women. (global)
