A study of the elements of personal health systems which encompass the various ways of delivering personal health services with regard for their evolution, governance, financial structure, organization function and structure, changing characteristics and relationships, and mechanisms for quality assessment and social accountability. A study of individual social and environmental determinants of health, disease, and disability including the field of medical sociology.
