SW 250 CONTEMPORARY SOCIAL WORK PRACTICE

3.0 undergraduate credits

Provides the student with a generalist problem-solving framework for engaging in social work practice. Focuses on the development of helping skills which are essential in working with a variety of client systems. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of interviewing skills through role play and analysis of video vignettes of professional situations. Prerequisite: SW 145.
