Guidelines Mission Statement Staffing
Management Information Systems is a department within the usiness Affairs Area of Marywood University. Its mission is to design, program, implement, and support administration application software to address the needs of students, faculty, and staff of Marywood University. Meeting the needs of the Administration of Marywood University is our primary goal. Every attempt is made to respond to Administrative needs as quickly and thoroughly as possible. In order to fulfill this mission, Management Information Systems will pursue the following objectives:
  • To support the University's goals and objectives and to provide application software solutions for Administrative areas of Marywood University through the use of computer technolgy.
  • To provide training and support for end users in the use of Administrative systems.
  • To provide security; physical and data. To provide a disaster recovery plan in the event a disaster should occur.
  • To acquire, implement, and efficiently manage available resources to meet the operation needs of the University.
  • To stay abreast of trends and technology in the computer industry. To support community development by sharing technology resources and expertise.
